Herbal support for breastfeeding mums.

Lactation AOK is a nourishing blend of traditional herbs to support healthy milk flow, hormone balance, emotional wellbeing, and immune resilience during breastfeeding.

This formula brings together well-known galactagogues (like Fenugreek and Goat’s Rue) with herbs that calm the nervous system, support liver and hormone function, and boost immunity. Ideal during times of low milk supply, high stress, or postpartum fatigue.

May support:

  • Healthy breast milk flow and supply
  • Postnatal recovery and energy
  • Calmer feeding experiences
  • Digestive comfort for mum and baby
  • Immune support during breastfeeding

Each 5mls contains:

  • Chamomile (equiv. to dry herb) 100mg
  • Echinacea (equiv. to dry herb) 100mg
  • Fenugreek (equiv. to dry herb) 200mg
  • Fennel (equiv. to dry herb) 100mg
  • Goats Rue (equiv. to dry herb) 100mg

Recommended Administration:

Take 2.5–10ml up to 3 times daily.
Or as recommended by your healthcare practitioner.
Best taken 20 minutes before meals in a small amount of water.
Adjust dose as needed. Suitable for ongoing or short-term use.
We recommend adequate water intake, regular activity, sound sleep and a wholefood diet.

Special Notes:
Dose requirements may differ from person to person. Considerations are size of the person, nature and severity of the ailment, sensitivity of the person, previous childbirth experience and other complementary / therapeutic preparations the person maybe taking.

Cautions:

  • Generally no problems occur.
  • Licorice has been shown to deplete potassium levels and lead to sodium retention, which may possibly lead to fluid retention and hypertension. This may occur with very large doses if taken over an extended period of time. This is highly unlikely in acute conditions, but care must be taken in patients with a pre-existing deficiency of potassium.
  • Reduce dose if the infant develops loose or discolored stools.
  • Reduce dose if excessive milk is produced.
  • Avoid if you have any known ingredient sensitivities
